The NodOn® Smart Plug (Type E) can be controlled via a Home Automation gateway Z-Wave compliant or directly via any other Z-Wave® controller such as the NodOn Soft Remote, the wall switch or the Octan Remote. In German (Schuko) or French (Type E) standard, the plug can be mounted in both side, head up or head down. Combined with its thin design, these 2 specificities allow an easy integration, without obstructing beside sockets on a power strip. Learning process with the controller takes only few seconds. A button allows to switch ON/OFF the Smart Plug locally.  Combined with a Home Automation gateway, the plug can notify a main power outage
